Sophia Doman is an internationally license and certified English as a Second Language teacher since 2003. She is also an author, self-publisher, Course developer and Instructor. She has been teaching online for several years. She is now teaching a number of students via Social Media who are learning to speak English for different purposes. Students are learning to speak English to become fluent, to improve vocabulary, to gain promotion, to take an exam to support visa application and even to get into a university in an English speaking country.
She teaches many lessons such as Customer Service English, Business English, Conversational English, Bible Studies English, TOEIC/TEFL/OPIC/IELTS preparation or any topic of interest to the students to improve their speaking. Most of her students are taking Conversational English as a variety of topics are used during the classes such as news, sports, hobbies etch. Her students are from different level of English, age and background. Students are evaluated on the first day of their class to decide which level they are so that lessons are structured to suit the students needs, level and pace.
She recently wrote a book called Customer Service & Call Centre 101, which is an introduction to the service industry. Sophia has worked in the Customer Service industry for several years and has an enormous amount of experience in that area. She has listened to her customers when they speak of getting people who do not speak English very well or being offered poor customer service, hence, she wrote this book to enhance the skills of those who are already in that field or those who would like to get into the service industry. Many companies are outsourcing the customer service part of their business offshore to countries where English is their second language or third language. This book is to aid those people.
